is part of the sustainable product development series for Cu Chi Tunnels tourism. It builds on the foundation of Carbon Craft, an A’ Design Award 2025 winning project.
Cu Chi, dubbed the “ Land of Steel ” for the resilience and unwavering spirit of its soldiers and civilians during the resistance wars against France and America, is a one of a kind destination about 70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Its intricate tunnel network has become a symbol of the strength and indomitable will of the Cu Chi people.

The aspiration for freedom, steadfast resolve, and boundless creativity are the vibrant threads woven into its history. These elements themselves brim with vitality and have served as our greatest source of inspiration.
The standout feature of the Land of Steel Collection is the closed loop reuse of all materials through FDM 3D-printing technology.
In terms of design, each temple arm is carved with a multifunctional groove, making it easy to attach a variety of support straps. This innovation meets the rigorous demands of activities like cycling, skateboarding, rowing, and even repair and machine building tasks.

The grooved design makes it easy to fit both wires with a circular and wires with a vertical cross section.
Additionally, Land of Steel is available in five exclusive colors :
Concrete Gray

Aspiration Orange

Forest Green

Deep Blue

Desert Tan
Sustainable Products & Sustainable Tourism
This idea began taking shape in early 2017 , a grand dream, yet one that, for a time, was buried beneath the dust of forgetfulness. We often asked ourselves: What product would truly fit? A single standalone item, or a complete ecosystem of interconnected products? Even the project’s name once stood as an open question.
Then, an overarching yet invisible element, " the nature of self-sustaining growth " suddenly became the thread connecting our present thoughts to the selves we were in the past.
Land of Steel, is such a beautiful name. In itself, it carries the fierce vitality of the land it represents. Cu Chi is the official administrative name, yet in the memory of the world, it is the land that once endured the “earth peeling operations” of war .
More than 500,000 tons of bombs and hundreds of tons of chemical agents were dropped here.
And yet, half a century later, Cu Chi is experiencing a miraculous revival.
I vividly remember the days when Ho Chi Minh City was locked down during COVID-19 , an image mirrored in many cities around the Globe. But Cu Chi was a rare green zone: from the very start of the pandemic until lockdowns were lifted, this land remained an untouched safe area.
We witnessed self sufficient villages taking shape: fresh eggs, clean vegetables, pork, and beef were all supplied locally; neighbors cared for one another with heartfelt sincerity; each person enjoyed their own clean and open space. Our collective stayed creative, kept producing, and stood firm through every challenge.
We are grateful to be part of this extraordinary land. Then, a sudden spark lit in our minds: Should we create a “ Cu Chi 2.0 ” — Where COVID era villages become models of sustainable planning, intertwined with sustainable products?
For Land of Steel… has always existed, simply waiting to be awakened.
